After a five-hour drive to Monterey, race registration, a ride around the course and checking in at the motel, it was time for dinner and a short stop to see a cross at the beach. Back at the motel, we watched a movie, thanks to my iPod and a cable set that plugs into the motel TV, and Donna had time to go through her race goodies bag.
