We opted to avoid traffic and just explore our own back yard today. I checked out Google maps and noticed a botanical garden just about three miles from our house. We thought we’d check it out and wow, what a surprise! 30 acres, right in the middle of Thousand Oaks, dedicated to nothing but native plants & flowers. After a short morning road ride, lunch, a few errands and some frozen yogurt, it was the perfect way to wrap up a day.
