I don’t know if I was ‘smiling’ because I was riding, or because the ride was almost over.

Pelicans are, and likely always will be, my favorite creatures on this earth.

Where better to unwind on a Friday night than the beach. Whew… what a week!

Ran into this gal on my ride through Sycamore canyon tonight. After a few minutes I started wondering who was watching who.

The drive to work always serves as a great reminder of why I love living in Thousand Oaks.

Check out this screenshot of my Twitter feed, displayed on Flipboard for iPad. MUCH nicer than Twitter.

Wanna make Donna’s day? Pick up a set of these bad boys for her. Rocket Ron from Schwalbe! White, of course!

I have a ‘thing’ about sticking my bare piggies in the sand… I hate the way it sticks to me. Thanks to all the ventilation in bike shoes, sand still manages to get through and drive me crazy.

After a week of indulging, it felt great to get back out on the bikes. The 26-mile (roundtrip) route from our house, through Sycamore Canyon and over to the beach was perfect. My left knee felt is was way too far.
