I stepped on the scale again this morning, as I do every day, expecting to see something around 249 or 250. Much to my surprise, the scale read 246.5, which means yesterday reading of 247 wasn’t a fluke. Right about the time I was getting excited about losing 4.5lbs, Donna reminded me that I had been eating a lot of soup (due to illness) around the time I first weighed in at 251, which likely threw things off just because of all the salt and water retention associated with soups.
Still, I’m closer to my goal of 230, leaving me with 16.5lbs to lose. If only losing weight was as easy as gaining it, I’d be set.
