We got out for a great ride today but around mile 18 of a 26-mile ride, I determined it was too long of a ride for my first day back in the saddle. It’s a hot day in SoCal which I’m sure has been a huge factor. We made it home safely with basically nothing more than exhaustion. After some food, cooling down, a shower and a sinus rinse, I’m feeling much better, so we’re off to Ventura Harbor for a sunset at the beach and some fish & chips (& scallops & shrimp hopefully).
