One large popcorn, two large drinks, two comfy seats and a movie that prompted Donna to laugh herself into tears at times. Morning Glory certainly isn’t the movie of the century but there were parts that were absolutely hilarious. Plus, having the news background that Donna and I do, I think we enjoyed it a little more than the average person might.

After our morning ride, a little gift-giving, lunch at Panera and a little shopping, we ‘warmed up’ at Starbucks. It actually was a little cool and wet during the afternoon.

One of the most grueling aspects of Donna’s biking routine is that I usually have to go along – you certainly can’t let the birthday girl go biking by herself!

Donna rode like a rock star today – clearing her 2:15 loop in an even 2:00, despite two flat tires and a bathroom break.

The birthday girl was given the choice to do ANYTHING she wanted to this morning. She wanted to go mtn biking!

Donna got one of her smaller birthday gifts this morning – a little bling for her bike – WHITE lock-on grips for her mountain bike. I’m not planning on them staying white for long.
