Let’s face it, this is primarily a photo blog. Keeping that in mind I kept looking at the blog on my iPad and realizing the photos themselves consumed a relatively small space on the iPad screen and to see them very well, you had to tap a photo to enlarge it, in order to really see it very well.
As a result, I’ve changed the template to get rid of the widget bar to the right, so that the photos can be larger. Nice, eh?

With the Sea Otter Classic just around the corner, we decided to get out for another post-work ride Tuesday night. We were both on the fence about going so we rode the shortest of our loops, which only takes about 50 minutes. It was a good thing we chose that loop because Donna’s legs were not feeling good. Right about the time we reached the top, we caught the sun disappearing over the hillside. The view was amazing to say the least.

It still remains unseasonably cool here in SoCal so pretty much every time I stopped to catch my breath (or wait for a suffering Donna) my glasses started to fog up from the combination of my body heat and the cool evening air. They don’t work too well in the reading-glasses-position but at least they don’t fog up when they’re a little further away from my face.

So Wednesday will be a rest day – and a deserved one at that since we’ve ridden three days in a row and will be riding every day for the next few days. While Donna is getting her hair cut, I’ll be at the bike shop getting some new brake pads on her bike.
