We spent Sunday night in Pismo Beach. We didn’t get in until almost 8pm so we didn’t have much time to enjoy the ocean-front Cottage Inn. We would have spent more time in the area if we didn’t have so much to do once we got home – just getting ready for the work week and that sort of thing.
Of course we couldn’t leave Pismo without stopping by the docks to see some of our friends at Avila Beach. There wasn’t a pelican in sight but there were plenty of these guys, barking non-stop as usual. This one loved the camera and struck a number of poses for me.
The vacation, as short as it was, was a real success and we’re already starting to plan our next one, hopefully near the end of June. We were blessed with good traffic, great weather, good food, nice places to stay and above all else, each other’s companionship. Donna truly makes every day better – be it a work day, a vacation day, or anything in between.
