I’d much rather ride with Donna than my iPod. She makes a much, much better riding companion. Thursday night was a solo ride, as she’s still recovering from a back injury.
One upside I discovered about the iPod is that I can’t hear how loud I’m breathing in the climbs.
One downside I discovered, as I almost wrecked a few times, is that the sense of sound is a big help on downhills, allowing me to hear how loose the terrain is and how fast I’m really going.
