GRAND CENTRAL STATION

It was a crazy day at the house on Monday. The heating & cooling company was here to install our central air, Verizon was here to install our Fios service (tv, Internet & phone) and of all days, the landscaping company was here as well. Despite all the chaos with everyone there at one time, it feels great to have it all done. Needless to say, we were unpacking in the middle of all that as well.

We had the a/c unit installed outside the master bedroom’s entrance to the back patio – this way it really isn’t visible from the kitchen entrance to the back patio and it’s out of sight when sitting as the patio table.

Before the a/c crew had a chance to carry all their materials to the back yard, the landscaping crew added a few obstacles to their path.

Donna spent the bulk of her morning in the master bathroom trying to remove soap scum / hard water stains from the glass, shower doors. It was quite an effort but I thing they’re permanently stained. At the very least, they look a LOT better then they did when we moved in. The entire shower is one of those things we’ve put on our list of home-improvement projects.

I of course took care of more important things, like getting the garage organized. All 9 of our bikes now hang on one wall, making room to get at least one car in the garage (as required by the HOA). Donna of course is taking credit for all the work. (Actually, I just thought it was a prettier photo with her in it.)
