We took our first trip with the BuddyMobile this morning. Turns out, towing an extra 50 pounds behind your bike takes a little more out of you than I expected. Buddy seemed to do pretty good with it, all things considered. Of course right now, he’s fast asleep on his chair.
We had a little bit of whimpering and whining but half way through the ride he started to calm down a little bit. For the time being, I’ve written off the idea of ‘long’ rides. We were out for about 90 minutes today and after that, my legs didn’t have as much left in them as I had hoped. For the time being, I think 2-3 hours will be my max.
