After a slow start to the day, some ant killing in the kitchen and a long walk with Buddy, we headed to the Summerland Beach Cafe near Santa Barbara for lunch. I had pancakes in mind and more of a brunch-type meal but it was well after noon by time we got there, so I opted for the Maaaheee sandwich with a side of curly fries.
Donna chose something she knew she wouldn’t have to share with me – an egg-white omelette with Swiss cheese, spinach and mushrooms. Yuck! I think maybe her taste buds are broken.
It was a beautiful day though and a great day to sit outside and enjoy a great meal.
