After mom & dad left we went back to sleep for a little bit. I got up at 5am to take Buddy for a run and talked Donna into staying in bed to catch up on a little rest. When we got back from the run, Buddy searched the house looking for mom & dad. When he discovered they weren’t there, he decided to pout. Donna and I spent the morning feeling like chopped liver – I don’t think Buddy could be less interested in Donna and I, almost as if to insist that my parents come back.
