It’s been a pretty successful week so far, eating right and exercising every morning. I’m sleeping better, for sure. I’m still a little groggy and run down by early afternoon but I know I’m depleting my body of some of the things it’s used to, so I have to expect it to revolt a little.
After starting this on Monday, I’ve lost 7.5 pounds, and it’s only Thursday morning. While its inspiring, and makes the effort seem worthwhile, I know this is a little too much. I also know that once I hit my ‘magic number’ on the scale, my body will simply quit dropping weight. That’s when the real challenge will begin.
The morning runs have been tough this week because with Donna not feeling well, I had to run solo Wednesday and today.
I’m back down to where I was before the holidays, which is a miracle. The real test will be to see if I can continue this. From where I’m at now, my goal is to drop another 20-25lbs.
