I’ve been in the new office for one week now and I’m amazed at how much more work I can get done when I don’t have people coming to me every minute for something different. Part of this is because I’m in an office now but part, I’ll admit, is just because my new job is much different from my previous. Before, I spent each day dealing with about 50-100 little things. Now, I spend my days dealing with 5-10 bigger things.
All in all I’m enjoying it. It’s extremely quiet, almost too quiet, but the buzzing of my desk fan and the small refrigerator make for some good white noise.
