We had lunch plans in Ojai today so we decided to get an early start to the day and head to Lake Casitas for a morning hike. We weren’t surprised but it was hotter than… well, that really warm place way south of you. Buddy took to the lake water much more so than the ocean. At one point the heat really started to get to him and he just laid down in the water – which, of course, meant he was due for a bath when we got home.
