No human being should have to endure chemotherapy… well, there are a few but they’re never the ones who end up going through it. Today was Donna’s first round of chemo and after today, she’ll have five more rounds to go. The nurse went through all the possible rejection scenarios and side-effects and the list was much longer than we had anticipated.
So far, so good. Right now we’re about three hours into what will be a five hour process today. With it being her first time they’re slowing down everything to make sure she doesn’t have any reactions. After today, this process should only last about three or four hours.
Donna was doing pretty good up until today, in terms or worries and nervousness. She didn’t sleep great last night but she slept. This morning she was getting a little more nervous.
