Donna is typically ready to head to the kitchen or the sofa about the time I’m leaving for work, but Buddy much prefers that she stays in bed – Buddy isn’t allowed to be on the bed overnight but once we’re awake in the morning, we let him up. He’s done a remarkable job of understanding that sometimes he’s allowed on the bed and sometimes he’s not. Anyway, this morning Buddy was zonked out on the bed after our morning walk, so Donna decided to stay there as well.
