A birthday usually means it's time to get out of town for a night, but with Buddy just ending his recovery from whatever bug got a hold of him, those plans just didn't come together.
The day started out with a short rainy walk around the neighborhood, a trip to 7-Eleven for Donna's favorite coffee, Panera Bread for some breakfast treats then delivery of said breakfast treats & coffee back to the house.
Donna considered the rainy weather a treat and wanted to go for a walk and Buddy had no objections. (Notice how I didn't mention my own opinion of a second walk in the rain.) Then it was back home and time to open a few cards and gifts.
The rest of the day included watching a Vitamix DVD, a movie (Hunger Games II), an early dinner and an evening around the house.
