You gotta take care of the necessities first – otherwise I might have to endure the wrath of a very grumpy wife.
We decided to kick off the day with one of our shorter hikes through Wildwood Park.
This was Buddy’s first off-road, off-leash experience. Donna was a little nervous about him catching a scent and taking off, but he did great the entire time. I did leash him for a short period of time after passing by a rather large coyote.
After our morning hike we got cleaned up and headed to Ventura Pier for some fish tacos, sunshine and a visit with Phi.
Apparently we weren’t the only ones with this bright idea for today.
