We spent Wednesday in (and above) Santa Barbara, starting with a drive up Gibraltar Road. The views were spectacular, but being able to share them with family made them all the better.
It was years ago that Donna and I biked this road, en route to Solvang – one of the biggest rides we’ve ever done. They’ve since paved the road.
Our timing was perfect as we happened upon two hand gliders that were launching from the mountain side.
It’s not every day that you can capture a family photo with the expansive Los Padres National Forest as a backdrop.
When in Santa Barbara, you can’t help but stop for lunch at Joe’s Cafe.
