I’ve been exploring hybrids of still photography and video, but many of the tools create artificial motion — motion that never really took place. I can’t bring myself to use such tools, and many of the others cost as much as $200/year for an annual license.
I’m happy to have discovered DrawMotion for iOS. It outputs a video file, which works great for platforms like Twitter and Instagram that automatically loops video clips. For platforms like my blog or a website, I’m playing around with GIF conversions.
