Despite the fact that we’ve now lived in western Virginia for more than two years, we had never hiked the Appalachian Trail to McAfee Knob — the most photographed spot on the AT in Virginia — until this past Friday. I needed a few video clips of the iconic view for a project I’m working on. Sure beats a desk job.
