We’re still itching to do some mountain biking, but with the local singletrack being as crowded as what it is and given the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re settling for rides along the new river trail.
We’ve pretty much ridden the entire length of the trail, with the exception of the 12+ miles closest to Galax. So being in the mood for something different, that’s where we headed. It didn’t turn out to be our favorite section of the trail, but it was still quite beautiful and it made for a nice 25-mile out-and-back ride.
