Looking down on Highway 101 from the trail, I was thrilled to be on single track instead of driving on Tarmac. I managed to get out of work around 5:15 today (extremely early) which left me enough time to ride with nothing but daylight – I didn’t even bring the lights with me. To boot, I even got to ride a little further than I expected.
There are few things that put such a smile on my face besides singletrack… My wife, seeing my family, oh, and maybe the latest gadget from Apple. Well, that’s maybe a stretch… I couldn’t begin to put my wife and family in the same category as gadgets and trails. Trails and gadgets are fun but they don’t give you that warm feeling in your heart.
The trails were pretty crowded tonight, as they always are. They’re awesome trails and they’re very close to a heavily populated area, so you’re destined to encounter other trail users.
