When the Ventura County Star relocated to Camarillo, in the direct landing pattern of the Camarillo airport, I wondered what the odds were of an airplane crashing into our building. Turns out, they must be pretty good because we’ve been in the building maybe three years and today a plane crashed into a neighboring self storage center, literally right next door to our building. Amazingly, all four passengers of the plane walked away from the accident with non-critical injuries. Since it was so close to the office, I ran out with my Canon G12 and shot some video for the newspaper.
