Given how much we wanted to get done today and what a late start we got to the day (sleeping in felt soooo good) we opted for our short, 1:15 loop near home so we’d still have time to go shopping, pick up our 2010 tax return papers and catch a matinee of “Hanna”.
Despite being a short ride, it was a great one. Shopping a Kohl’s turned out to be a bust – the land of $25 jeans, none of which are sized the same, regardless of what the labels say. As a result, I ended up at the Gap – the land of $60 jeans, all of which are neatly organized, labeled correctly and fit perfectly. Why I ever try to save money, I’ll never know. I spent 40 minutes at Kohl’s and got absolutely nothing. I spent 5 minutes in the Gap and got two pairs of jeans.
