Since we started today’s ride so late, we decided to pack some sandwiches and almonds for lunch. Turns out, the beach isn’t an all-bad spot for a picnic.
Not only did we get to have a picnic on the beach, but we snagged one of the shaded picnic tables. Seriously, what more could you ask for.
The road back is a pretty mellow ride, right through Sycamore Canyon on a dirt road that just gradually climbs for about 8 miles before hitting a very steep, paved road.
