Friday after work we decided to go look at a few houses and townhouses in Thousand Oaks & Newbury Park. We’re learning that you get more for your money in Camarillo. The first place was a bit of a dump outside and the neighborhood wasn’t that great.
The second place was a townhouse complex that was great in and of itself, but we weren’t crazy about the development across the street.
The third house, which isn’t listed through our realtor, is in a great location and reminds us of Bend, Oregon, but there were a few legal notices on the door and I’m guessing that financing it might be a nightmare.
The last house has a great inside. Outside, the landscaping needs a complete overhaul and it’s a pretty big yard at that. Plus, though it’s in a great neighborhood, it sits at a busy intersection and the traffic noise was pretty annoying.
