SO MANY COLORS, SO FEW WALLS

We’re choosing our colors for the new home this weekend and what a chore it is proving to be. Donna and I both like dark, bold colors but the home isn’t real bright or real big, so we’re trying to avoid bold, dark colors without going into the pastel family.

We’re also trying to stay pretty neutral and bring color into the home in other ways, like lamp shades, window treatments and wall hangings.

We’re all squared away with the painter. We close on a Wednesday and we’re giving him the place all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday to get the painting done. We have to meet with him early next week to give him the colors and a deposit, but other than that we’re good to go.
