With all that’s been going on, it’s been a while since Donna and I went out on a ‘date night,’ so after some packing and other odds and ends, we headed out for a movie and dinner. Thanks to the reserved seating at Muvico, we realized BEFORE we purchased our tickets that there was only seating left in the first two rows of the theater, so we decided to ditch the movie. Instead we went to Best Buy and Bed Bath & Beyond. After that it was off to BJ’s for a great dinner – sliders & fries for an appetizer then we got fish & chips and Parmesan crusted chicken. We split both of the entrees to mix it up a little.
Donna opted to do the driving on the way home, which always makes for an entertaining adventure.
Before we made it home, water started falling from the sky – a freak occurrence here in SoCal. Actually, in all honesty, it looks like we’re in for a lot of the wet stuff this week.
