Since we had to ditch the movie Sunday afternoon, and ended up at Best Buy, we found some $4.99 DVDs and ended up with a pretty good deal.
Muvico tickets cost $23.00 and we usually spend $15 on popcorn and drinks, bringing to total to $38. But today, for $37, we got “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen,” “City Slickers,” “Crocodile Dundee II,” “Live Free or Die Hard,” “Legally Blonde 2,” “Robots” and “Cast Away.” Not bad! Plus we’ve got a nice plasma tv and Sony surround system to watch them on.
Our actual reason for going to Best Buy was to see how much it costs for them to come out and mount our tv on the wall at our new home. The answer – $200 to $300, which is a little steeper than I expected. It probably one of those expenses we’ll hold off on, if we’re able to find a home elsewhere for the tv.
