It’s not really my nature to refer to a walk as exercise, but lately, I’ve been feeling a bot differently about it. Until Donna’s back is good enough for biking, this is about as good as it gets. We got out for 90 minutes and I’d estimate the loop was 7.5-9 miles.
I ruled out a solo bike ride first thing this morning when I realized it had rained pretty good overnight. The trails would be too soft and muddy.
It’s been a mix of clouds and sun today but the skies were really getting threatening as we were getting closer to home.
By time we got home, it felt like someone had rubbed the bottom of my feet with sandpaper. I wore cotton socks, which I never wear any more, and wow, what a difference. All my good socks were dirty and I didn’t realize what a difference it would make. Lesson learned.
