I’M POOPED

Buddy had a big day on Sunday. The adoption went very smooth and he got microchipped and his rabies shot before leaving the shelter.

After being home for a while and getting used to his new surroundings, we went for a walk along the greenbelt near the home. After that and a little rest back home, we were off to the dog park, where he did absolutely great with all the other dogs, big and small.

We stopped for pizza on the way home, for dinner, and it wasn’t long after we got home that Buddy konked out! After an hour on the floor, he got up, walked into his open crate, laid down and went to sleep. We had to wake him up to go out one more time to go out before we went to bed and after that he returned to his crate for the night. He didn’t whimper or bark even once and we all got a great night’s sleep.

Buddy weighs exactly 30lbs, only begs for people food during maybe the first 30-60 seconds of meal time, seems to love his crate and is adapting to his new home just fine.
