It used to be that Donna had to sit next to Buddy while he ate, mainly because he would just get so excited and ‘woof’ it down. As time has passed, he doesn’t get so excited about his food but Donna continues to sit by him while he eats. She even keeps him calm until he burps twice – something he does like clockwork after every meal.
