The day started out well enough, with a Starbuck’s latte and a little family time on the back patio.
We finally have one of my photos on our wall – a 24″ X 36″ print made on stretched canvas at the photo
lab in Ventura. As much as we love it, the $212 price tag will deter us from having any other such prints made.
After only one day of searching, we found the perfect pet trailer for Buddy – I call it the BuddyMobile. A guy in Oxnard had it on Craigslist and we were thrilled to save about $200 from the brand-new price. It took very little coercion to get Buddy into it and after a short ride around the block, he hopped out then hopped right back in. I think he’s gonna do just fine with it.
As you can see, there are big vents pretty much the entire way around the trailer. The odd part is that there is no padding to the bottom at all – it’s just a hard sheet of plastic with the nylon-canvas type material covering it. We threw some old pillows on the bottom for a little added comfort.
To look at these two, you’d think they had a busy day.
