For the first time ever I’m posting to my blog without typing on a keyboard. I just learned that the iPhone 4S with Siri has a dictation function so I can simply speak and it types the words for me.
I keep trying to trick Siri, slurring my words talking fast and that sort of thing but I can’t seem to fool it. The hardest part is getting used to talking instead of typing – it’s a completely different thought process.
The other voice commands are really cool too using Siri. I can ask it to call a contact, send a text message, schedule an appointment and remind me to do something on my to do list and create to do’s.
I’ll be sure to post a video pretty soon, showing what Siri can do, but for now I really just wanted to see how well it could dictate.
