EASTER MORNING HIKE

Sunday we headed out pretty early and got in a 3-hour hike around Wildwood Park, the opposite side of the river from what we hiked Saturday. Technically it’s a park but it’s pretty massive. If you really wanted to, I think you could put together an all-day hike and never leave the park – we weren’t feeling quite that motivated.

Buddy usually tries to stay as dry as possible but while crossing one of the creeks via a bridge, he noticed two ducks nearby. He didn’t hesitate for even a second to jump right in and go after them. I’m wondering if I could get a duck to stick in his bath tub.

Our new hats came in real handy on Sunday’s hike. The sun was out in full force and both of our hats worked beautifully.

Buddy is always real good about stopping to read signs, especially when they’re warning signs of any sorts.
