After the hike, Buddy was ready for a serious nap. He seemed quite irritated that we were staying at home – I think he wanted peace and quiet.
Before Donna left for the grocery store, she had to make sure their wasn’t anything bothering Buddy, other than exhaustion.
Needless to say, even with our presence, it wasn’t long before Buddy was o-u-t.
While Donna ran to the grocery store, I took care of all the yard work. This is an extremely grueling chore and takes almost an entire half hour, by time I cut the grass, pull the weeds and sweep off the back patio.
After the yard work and grocery shopping we crashed and had lunch. This is where our day usually takes a turn for the worse – as it is often hard to get back up, off the sofa. We persevered today and made it our for a fun afternoon.
