It didn’t seem right to leave Donna at home by herself, still recovering from surgery, on our anniversary. Solution? Take a day off work. Weekend trips are out of the question due to her energy level so we stayed close to home.
First item on the agenda – cards and a few small gifts.
After exchanging gifts it was time for Buddy’s usual morning walk.
Then we had a late breakfast at home and a little family time.
Eventually we made it out for a matinee at Muvico and lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.
By time we got home, Donna has ready for a nap. She nodded off for a while while I watched Ironman 2.
