ONE SERIOUS SISSY

A few minutes before the 5am alarm went off this morning, the freezing cold temperature of our home woke me up. Donna wasn’t next to me and I figured either I had been restless and kept waking her up, or vice-versa. Just a few minutes later she came walking in and crawled back into bed. She didn’t know who and been waking who up but her stomach was bothering her and she said she was sleeping better on the sofa, sitting more upright.

A few minutes later it was time to get Buddy out for his morning walk. I went straight from bed into a winter hat, long-sleeve shirt and Patagonia fleece jacket (expedition weight at that). Then I checked the thermostat… 66 degrees. Outside temperature? 57 degrees. It was then that I realized just how much of a sissy I’ve become! I can’t imagine how I’d react to winter up North.

  1. Don’t know how you’d react to a winter up North? I think you’d freeze your tukas off before fall was over;-)
Hope you all have a good (warm) weekend!
    Luv ya!!!
