LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE

During Donna’s first trip to the oncologist’s office for chemo, they told her to call if her temperature ever exceeded 100.5 degrees. She’s been feeling especially crappy yesterday and today and this afternoon her temperature did indeed exceed 100.5 – which landed her back in the doctor’s office.

They ran blood tests and sent her home with antibiotics, under the ‘threat’ of admitting her back into the hospital if her temperature isn’t under control by the end of the day tomorrow.

While we were waiting for the lab results to come back (which were done immediately), I decided to put the theory to the test, that laughter is the best medicine.
