We kicked off the day with our usual morning walk with Buddy. It feels so good to be out in sunshine, wearing short-sleeve shirts, in late December.
Buddy continues to impress us with his off-leash obedience.
Passed by these just a few blocks from home. It’s amazing how many things are in bloom this time of year.
As you can see, Buddy doesn’t do the entire route without his leash.
After cleaning the house and taking care of a few other odds and ends, it was time for lunch – at one of our favorite spots!
This was a first. I’ve always seen the line of cars wrapping around the car wash at Costco and figured there must be something magical about it. Turns out, there is – it’s only $8 and it’s the best car wash (short of a hand-wash center) that I’ve ever been to.
Kind’a spooky driving through the car wash. I’ve seen too many horror movies that involve the eerie sensation of not being able to see out the windows.
The car wash was a great deal – this, was not. Given the long lines I assumed the gas was really cheap. Turns out it was only $.09 cheaper than Shell.
No weekend evening is complete without a trip to the nearby park to let Buddy run and play fetch.
