There was an injured squirrel outside the office, so we boxed him up (yes, literally) and a co-worker drove him to a wildlife rescue center.
Update: Feeling really sad right now. Turns out the squirrel had a broken back and two broken legs. They had already put him under for potential surgery but after seeing the x-ray, they decided it was best that he just drift away in his sleep.

Poor little thing! At least you minimized his auffering! Who knows his fate if you hadn’t saved him. I wonder what squirrel heaven is like……
