Donna is traveling for business purposes this week. Here’s what I’ve learned in her absence:
- The dishwasher does not empty itself
- The wheels on the trash can are not self propelled
- Buddy expects dinner EVERY night
- Aluminum cans and glass bottles DO fit in the trash can (as opposed to the recycling bin.)
- There ARE cable channels other than HGTV
- The dinner plate is empty, unless I put something on it
- HGTV is one of the better channels cable has to offer
- Queen size beds are made for two
- 4:15 a.m. comes even earlier than 5:00 a.m.
- Oranges are a pain in the &$! to peel
- The Vitamix is really cool
- Buddy expects breakfast EVERY day
- Buddy CAN drink tap water
- “No, you hang up…” isn’t just a teenager ‘thing.’
- 24 hours is a loooong time. Four days can’t even be fathomed.
- Driving to the local taco shack is much more appealing than cleaning a dirty pan.
- Buddy likes Donna more than he likes me – why should he be different from everyone else?
(This list will be updated as the week progresses.)

Tiger, I hope your list doesn’t get too long.
Donna cannot get home soon enough, huh?
Shannon Tweed is a remarkable actress?! Either you are delusional or I am not watching the movie genre in which she excels😉
