NO PAIN, NO GAIN

It’s been a while since Donna and I really pushed ourselves on a ride. That came to an end today as we hit the trails in the Santa Monica Mountains. It certainly didn’t qualify as an ‘epic’ outing, but it was the hardest and furthest we’ve pushed ourselves in quite some time.

The views were spectacular as always, and we felt fortunate to be out in shorts and short-sleeve shirts in mid-January.

One downside to my excessive sweating was that I killed my Sony NEX-7. “Camera error” was all that displayed on the LCD at first, then eventually the camera just wouldn’t power up at all. For convenience, I had been wearing it with a neck strap, which meant I had been dripping sweat on it for about an hour before it crapped out on me.

Some of the images below were shot with the NEX-7 and the rest were shot with my trusty iPhone 6 Plus. Can you tell which images were shot with the iPhone?
