Nobody in their right mind wants to burn a vacation day mowing the lawn, cleaning the house or grocery shopping. So we left all that go until the second Saturday of our staycation. There’s just something about doing all that on a regular day off that’s much more appealing than doing it on a day that cost you eight hours of hard-earned vacation time.
