Mother Nature has been throwing out temperatures as random as lottery numbers. We’re anxious for warm weather to fall on weekend days, but in the meantime we’re making due with what we have.
Saturday we did some gravel grinding near Dismal Falls and after about an hour of riding, we realized we were simply too cold to make a day of it. An hour later we were back at the car, trying to thaw our toes and fingers.
Sunday morning, with temperatures in the low 30s, we headed to Cascade Falls — a hike that never disappoints.
