I don’t really know how happy clams are, but after hearing of today’s snowfall in Bend, Oegon, I’m thrilled to be living in SoCal. No doubt the snow was beautiful. What I didn’t like was: 1. Shoveling the driveway and walkway
2. Scraping my windshield every time I wanted to drive somewhere 3. Bundling up in five layers in order to bike
4. Slipping and sliding on the roadways
5. Washing the ice and snow from my bike after every ride
6. Replacing tires (bike & car) with studded tires
7. The ugly brown mess on the roadways once snow turned to slush 8. Well, you get the point…

Wow! Today we went from 61 when I went to work at 7am, to 40 when I left at 4pm, I was kind of disappointed, but at least I am not in Bend!
