After a solo mtn bike ride this morning (Donna is still out of commission) it was time to get down to business. Stop #1 was the furniture store, where we ordered our sofa w/ chaise and a 46″ wide chair, plus a coffee table. It’ll be about 6 weeks before we see it, but we’re very excited and love the fabric – the photo below is the fabric we went with, but not the same sofa.
Stop #2 was at a Sealy mattress store where a Memorial Day sale saved us a fortune! We ended up with a $2,500 mattress for $1,200! Plus, free delivery and free removal of the old mattress – delivery will be this Saturday.
Stop #3 was Target, where we picked up four new pillows. One the way out we spotted this couple waiting outside. Apparently it’s pretty easy to get a license in this state.
Oh, we also sold a gas dryer today and an old mtn bike frame via Craigslist. It’ll be sofa city tonight, knowing we got a LOT done today.
